The IQ Business Group Announces The Acquisition Of EVisory

Washington, DC – Global business and technology consulting firm The IQ Business Group, a company specializing in financial services, media and communications, healthcare and the public sector, announces the acquisition of eVisory, an industry leading consulting firm for enterprise content and records management technologies. eVisory has provided strategy, planning and implementation services for products such as EMC Documentum, OpenText, SpringCM, and Autonomy. Through a partnership with PointOne, IQ has the GSA SmartBUY contract for records management services.
As part of the transaction, Dan Elam, CEO of eVisory, will join IQ Business Group to become Vice President of Operations for North America. Prior roles include Managing Director of Gimmal Group and Founder and Partner at Imerge.

Elam is a long-time industry expert who has served in numerous leadership positions. He is currently Chair of the AIIM Emerging Technologies (EmTag) committee. Elam helped users and vendors in the procurement and implementation of over $4billion of ECM solutions. He is a Fellow of the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM).

Beck’s previous roles include COO and EVP of Proxicom, President and CEO of Trusted Edge.
